Hello, I have been researching truck driving, and have decided to make it my next career. I have been an auto mechanic for the last 23 years, but due to a back injury there is no way that I can continue in that line of work.
I have been looking into different truck driving schools, and there are several to choose from in my area (Dallas), but it is hard to decide which one is best or perfered by trucking compainies. Does anyone have a recommendation on which school is best? I have been looking at RM and DS, and there are also 2 or 3 trucking companies that offer in-house training but everything that I have read on here about these companies tells me to stay clear of them.
Any information that can be provide will be helpful.
    Thanks

That no touch freight is not good for a bad back either. A person can get big as a barn just swinging doors and the extra weight is not good on the back either...:biggrin_2554:
