. I am sorry you are not completely happy with your job, mine is the best I have had in the last 32 years as far as pay for hours worked.
As someone with nearly 30 years in the union I am making more money than I have in my life and working less, but it took me making several changes to get here.
One of my best friends hauls Hondas for USAL and is bummed, but he is a top producer and I am sure he will land on his feet at another terminal or company.
My sweet gig could end tomorrow, because you never know what life is going to throw you. Trucking just like business in general is cyclical. Business is lost and business is won. As long as you are prepared for change it's good.
The color of the trucks hauling the freight may change, but someone is always going to be hauling it.

Most car hauling outfits usually want you to have a few years tractor trailer experience before they bring you on board. The reason being is because there's a lot to think about when it comes to Car hauling and we are not as comfortable as we think we are with handling a big rig after only a few months and you'll understand this more when you get to three years under your belt. Hang in there before you know it you'll have a few years under your belt and you'll be a much better driver than you are now and ready for Car hauling.
