Trying to take and pass cdl permit test (texas) any helpful suggestions???

    Read the study guide the state gives you as if it were the bible. Read, study, read, study, have someone quiz you and READ THE QUESTIONS CAREFULLY! When I took it they tried to trip me up by changing a word or two in the questions/answers.

    There's at least one totally free Texas online practice test.
    Just search online. Keep taking the tests until you score 100.
    You take 2 tests to get the permit and 3 more to be allowed in the truck so read thd book a couple of times. I used a yellow hilighter and reread one section a day.
