any company that's not a large fleet. which is about 90% of all trucking companies.

i'll work for any small company, they don't play with or care about dac.

i WON'T work for a large fleet. for that reason AND the eobr.

    I don't think it's his DAC that's screwing him. It's CSA points.

I had a company truck for quite a while that was in and of the shop every 2 to 5 weeks with down time from 4 hrs to 11 days. Besides doing your job and the expérience .. what do you get paid for that ? Where is the profit for the company ? Doesnt matter ... I asked and asked for another truck.. the company would direct me to what they had availble.. I would respectfully decline the line up each time because I knew it be nothing more the a problem swap.. these days I'm issued trucks with little to no problems. how long that will last I dont know..

I'd do what ever is required to clean it up

This the truth of the matter. Any professional driver should refuse to run unsafe or illegal equipment. Period. There's a lot of freight and a lot of companies moving it, so getting a better, safer job is not an issue. Myself - one of my basic attitudes is, never drive unsafe or illegal. Never. I mean, why would anyone that that chance, or expose others to that risk?
