I posted awhile back asking for info and nobody really had heard of these guys. A long time friend who I worked with was wanting me to come over there. I was leery at first, my niche up to this point had been flatbed with just a bit of van. I made the switch and so far I really like this. Surprisingly, when nobody here had heard of then and I went in, I actually got to sit down and talk with the company president. This company has been around since the 80's and apparently has the market cornered. There aren't many other places that haul this stuff. But anyway, from day one these folks treated me way better than other places I have worked at. Then I was shocked to meet drivers who have been here 15+ years who told me flat out they weren't going anywhere, this was it for them. Everytime I have called in or stopped in the office, everyone is so friendly. Now maybe this has a lot to do with me being Oklahoma born and raised and they being in Texarkana and it is a "southern thing" I don't know but I like it. I don't have to hear a dispatcher griping at me because my hours are too low to make a run. Additionally, I am not bound to that oilfield exemption anymore(last employer used the h@ll out of it) If I have an issue with bad equipment, there is no "well what did YOU do to it?" Or "well can you either get it back here or fix it yourself".

You know how these places all say pretty much the same thing "we are like a family here at XXXXX trucking"? Well, here when I call in or stop in, I actually get that sense they are. I mean we all know there is no perfect driving job out there, but this place so far has treated me great and shown me nothing but respect.

Texarkana, Texas. From what I have learned so far, that is their one and only terminal.

Dunno about having the market cornered,I see a few companies roll thru here pulling identical trailers to the ones TSD is pulling. My question is where do you run with that stuff??

I usually run from Addis, LA or Ivanhoe, LA up to Lawton. Sometimes our to Mt. Vernon, IL and here lately, I guess they think I like PA cause I have been running from Borger, TX to Carlisle

Sounds like a good outfit, but I have put OTR far behind me. I was hoping to hear you say they had a Borger/Lawton dedicated gig.

They do have some guys that have dedicated routes. I just don't knowwhat those routes are. For the time being I love getting out and about, so I go where they send me. Averaging around 2500 miles per week.
