I posted this in CBs and got no replies so I'll give it a go here.

I'll be in Tucson for a stretch. Anybody have experience with their cb shop, good or bad, or know their reputation? The terminal has been around forever; I'm hoping their shop has expertise equal to their longevity. Asking because I want to have a 955 sent to me in Tucson, 10 metered while I'm there, get set up with antenna, and make sure it all works right before I head out again. This will be my first radio. Haven't used one since I was a kid offroading in the old man's Jeep. Information and advice beyond the post topic is welcome, and I'll be reading the threads.

I haven't been down to Tucson in years, but I never heard anything bad about their CB Shop.

I googled Comm Techs (which is located at TTT Truckstop) and they have some mixed reviews.

They have a Negative one and three are Positive.

The best thing to do is call them up or go down there and speak to them in person.

I have a Galaxy 99V that I've had for years that had a load of problems that progressively got worse to the point it finally was rendered useless.

I read some good reviews on the Big Rig Radio CB Shop at Danny's Truck Wash on 67th Ave in Phoenix, so I decided to give them a try about three months ago.

They fixed all the issues with my 99V and installed a new cord on my RK56 for a reasonable price and it's still working well.

I guess it all depends on what your needs are and if they can fulfill them.

Some people may have good results, some bad.

If your getting radio from somewhere else, that's what I read into it. Then they should be fine with setting it up. I have no idea about quality of tuning radios though.

    HiLoSapien Thanks this.

Talk to Snake Radio Customs in Chandler. He can set the radio up before it even leaves his shop and send it to wherever you are.

Lol. What would you like to know about these guys?
when reading reviews keep in mind most people have very low expectations and are very easy to please and very few people have expectations as high as mine and are very difficult to please.
