Hi I have a 2013 Prostar maxx force 13. Pulled into shop for PM L/F engine soaked with oil. After cleaning a observed oil coming out of the bottom at the clamp of the ATV(throttle valve) pulled clamp soaked with oil CAC soaked with oil. Went to R/S engine pulled hose from CAC going to turbo throttled engine up with rag in front of line coming from turbo , spitting oil. Tell me if I'm correct that one of the turbos are bad,or I read that there is another cooler that both turbos go through also. Then then it appeas the oil is blowing into the EGR cooler will this need to be removed and boiled out as well the CAC. Thanks for any help

High pressure turbos are bad for this. Bypassing oil. R&R turbo. If it is bad enough, yes you need to remove and clean the air the air. The EGR cooler will log a code if it gets plugged, no need to remove it unless you are using coolant or a low flow code.

Thanks for your help Heavyd . This would be fourth set of turbos on this truck since new. International may be loosing money on the sale of trucks. But they must be making it up on service and the sale of parts to keep this JUNK on the road.
Heavyd if I could get somemore of your experience on another problem.2012 prostar maxx force 13.Driver on several occasions when slowing (like going in line for a scale or entering the terminal ) The dash will begin flashing stop engine will apear in window by milage and truck will stall, turn off let a minute starts fine runs fine. I have hooked computer (service maxx ) every time no codes at all. Any ideas ??? thanks again

That is very strange. Never heard of that. If it is shutting down because of low coolant or oil pressure, it will log a code. When you have servicemaxx connected does it show the engine serial number or hp rating to signal a proper connection to the engine? I am thinking at idle it isn't producing enough oil pressure and is shutting down. I think the engine is actually logging codes, but your not able to read them for some reason.

Yes it is logging ser# and hp. I was kinda thinking along those same lines except no codes. I drove the truck around trying to duplicate the problem but was unable to get it to do it. I might just replace both those sensors and see if it corrects the problem. Thanks Again
