What is the length of service anyone has had with TMC? It seems like a great company to cut your teeth with or give years of service to. I'm just wonder on there turn over rate. Lots of great things said about TMC here, just would like to know the average time spent with TMC.

Let's see... They are always hiring, they train students, and when I inquired about them with (at the time) over 20 years driving experience including doing heavy haul in Alaska, they wouldn't return my calls. Does that give you some idea on what they are about?

Well with me cutting my teeth I really would appreciate some formal flat bed training I believe it would be a great fit, but maybe a long term career won't happen. Thanks for the reply..

Why not choose a company that you are wanting to stay with for the duration? There's no reason at all you can't make a good career out of your first company. If TMC fits your criteria then go in with the attitude to succeed and make money! Don't let a bunch of strangers with for the most part, negative attitudes effect your career choices. If you go into this thinking they are a temporary company then thats exactly what they will be and how you will feel while you are there.

if you want to haul JD ag equipment with a truck that has Too Much Chrome and leather seats, go for it

    their "training" isn't much

their hotel was nice last time I stayed there, that was 6 years ago!

Canter, apperently you got screwed with a bad fm and a bad truck cause i currently work for tmc and have no problems with them. Also know a lot of other tmc drivers who have no problem with them. Or maybe you just have a bad attitude in general n like to ***** about everything.

Only problem I had was with the equipment. The trucks I was in where breaking down all the time. They seemed more interested in keeping the trucks clean the making sure they ran right. The last time I broke down they sent me a message over the Qualcomm saying "make sure to get truck washed before delivering that load" They hadn't even set up a shop to fix the thing yet. That was my last load. Other than that I didn't have any issues.

I wouldn't say there a bad outfit. To me they just weren't a fit. Can't make money sitting.
