Straight on and straight off you’ll be fine. If you’re loading on ramps don’t hesitate at the break over point.
There’s a picture of the pretty big dozer that broke the back of a former members trailer clean off.
Everyone says he was loading way to big of a piece on that trailer. They always conveniently leave out the part where he had done it many times before but wasn’t allowed to load himself this time. The “operator” panicked at the break over point and started to go side to side trying to get straight, instead of just getting the machine all the way on the deck and then squaring up.
Turned down load due to metal tracks on the machine.

Well, you've got a lot nicer and newer trailer than me. Maybe I'd feel different in your shoes.Isafarmboy, singlescrewshaker, Trucker61016 and 1 other person Thank this.

I would have loaded it on my new trailer.Worst thing it would have done was scratch the deck a bit but I’m sure shippers and receivers have already scratched your deck some.Worst case you can always put down a carpet roll or rubber belting to minimize the scratches.
singlescrewshaker, God prefers Diesels and cke Thank this. -
Thats kinda where im at on it too, my trailers arent as shiney, i might not love putting it on, but 99 times out of 100 it probably isnt going to hurt anythingcke and God prefers Diesels Thank this.

In your picture it shows blade loaded detached. When you take a dozer with blade attached. It helps to put a piece of dunnage under the blade to prevent the edge from wearing a groove in your trailer deck.

Forklifts usually do more damage than that
cke Thanks this. -
I’d say a new one like this shouldn’t cause damage, but…
An used 45k lbs dozer straight from a jobsite with metal tracks and mud with stones pressed in-between the track blades will likely leave some damage and dents.Dadetrucking305 Thanks this.
