I have two, one in my work truck and one in my Suburban and IMO they are the next best thing since "White Bread!"

Back in the 70's, IMO you couldn't beat a Turner Road King Mic...and I still have several of the old Mic's...M+2U's, JM2+u, RK60, RK70, and a couple old 56's...(None of which sound worth a dang tho with radios built now days) But back then, "Road King was KING!"

The Ranger SRA-198's are very well built, and the video done by CB Magazine was right on the money with what I have seen using mine.

CB Radio Plus sells the SRA 198 and I think they are still $39 + S&H...

My general lee came with a ranger SRA 198 on it, I seem to like the old RK56 a bit better, hmm. the rk56 was my dads so its for sure an older one.

I like the RK 56 better too. Not a fan of the key up switch on the sra 198 and my buddy who swears by his has more noise on his. MAy just be his mic alone but my rk has less noise.
