Ok, I'm a newbie, but that's soon to change (hoping). Anyhow, I was contaced by a person affiliated with one of the many 'send one app to everyone' sites and was "quote un-quote" told I'd been hired with xyz co. After researching,so many THANX to all the posters on here!!,, plus the 20/10 wasn't gonna be available in my area, "Oh! Sure it is",... the fact that I do not want to run team..... anyhow, after all said and done(was scheduled to go, but declined a week early. The question is...is this reported on dac?

No , you were never employed so they cannot report it to DAC . In most cases potential drivers are not considered employed until they complete orientation and are accepted .
If they ever claim you were employed ask them to produce a signed W-4 tax form which is required before hiring . Did they give you a drug test and road test ? These are requirements that have to be met before hiring .

All the apps I've filled out lately only ask if I have attended an orientation, not been invited to one.

Well, if you had chili for breakfast, and broke wind--some company some where--could, and would put it on your DAC !!

Don't put ANYTHING past them !!

Just don't take the job next time till your sure, so you don't burn bridges. If they tell you your qualified and want to offer you employment, tell them You will contact them in X amount of time to set up a orientation date.

I showed up to the first day of cdl training for a big company, failed the dot for blood pressure reasons and went home. It was on my DAC.
