you have to turn in everything or pay for it (I assume. I wasn't missing anything on mine).

You will do an inspection sheet like you should've done when you picked up the truck. I was actually missing the two load bars. The number of bars I carried varied due to them getting sealed in trailers, then picking up some on other sealed trailers. Just happens I didn't have any when I turned my truck in but there were some extras in the shop and they counted those against my missing ones. I gave them the two crappiest straps I had and kept the other 10 or so I accumulated. I turned in my inspection, grabbed my bag and walked up to the sports bar up the street in Cartersville and waited for my ride home. It's that simple.

Yeah...that's what they all say. Millis has become a training company. they have pretty much lost most of their long time drivers because of this. They started having hiring blitzes and specified that they wanted students, not experienced drivers. They have opened schools at most, if not all, of their terminals. When I first went through their class, I tested out and was assigned a truck on a Thursday. I spoke to my dispatcher and he said come back Monday morning and send a ready for dispatch macro in and he would send me on my way. I had been out with my trainer for about 6 weeks. So I went home, came back to the terminal Monday morning at 8 AM sharp...and someone was moving their stuff from a regional truck into my assigned truck. I got with the terminal trainer and he looked it up and said someone had kicked me out of the truck and I needed to call my dispatcher...I called him, he said he thought I had quit....wtf??? That's how my driving career started at Millis. If you can find something to blame me for on that, then flame away, driver.

Yeah, I had accumulated a few extra straps too. I kept the two load locks on the back of the trailer and left extras in empty trailers...I think I came home with 4 brand new ones myself.
