And the next shiny truck comes along, like a fart in the wind. Where's Bret?

Anyhow, they got multiple terminals in Texas. So it's more flexible. Other oilfield companies just have terminals just in Midland or Monahans. Nobody lives out there. Here I can work in north Texas and be home more often. Even if I choose to head west for a hitch I can get a load up here after my hitch and park the truck at the terminal here. So a 40 min drive home instead of a 5 hour drive home in my personal car.
Nope, I have the pinnacle. It doesn't get any better. The 3406E is the best truck engine ever produced. They can't make engines like that anymore so there's not going to be a better truck. The new trucks are the same body style but they have gutless Paccar engines. They look cool but so does stuffing a sock down the front of your pants. All style and no substance.

I'm not sure what air pods are, but I'm glad you're happy and I'm glad you got a good truck.

The hatches on the top of the trailer are operated by air and can be opened/closed from the ground. No need to to climb on top to open hatches.

    MOBee and RockinChair Thank this.

UPP loads gross $1k to the truck for an 80 mile run. The average is 2 runs a day however many drivers get 3 in a day. Driver gets 25%

Anyone at Tutle and Tutle right now. I'm scheduled for orientation and looking forward to getting back to the oilfield. Last time I leased my truck into 1845 and did sand box, but I'll be going back as a company Tutle and Tutle driver learning pneumatic. Would love to hear how many loads of sand you all are moving right now.

Hi, I'm here! Typically we average 2 loads a day with the pneumatics however 3 a day is possible for highly motivated hard chargers. It's a little slow right now but will hopefully pick back up again soon. By the way that's WTX. We're in North Texas, south Texas, west Texas and North Dakota. I can only talk about NTX and WTX.

Yeah I'm going to West Texas because that's what I know. Do the trucks have inverters for a microwave? What kinda trucks do they have?

    Thanks for replying.

All the trucks are Peterbilt's. There's only 2 remaining 379's on the entire fleet. They're already spoken for. The others are short nose 389's then all the new tractors are curb sniffers. Some have inverters some don't but the shop will install one for you if you ask.

One more question if you don't mind. What speed transmissions do they have? I'll have a road test during orientation this week and i only have experience in 10 speeds.
