It's one big scam...they look for the new drivers at TS and make their $$$. Sucks to be those sales people.

Me and another driver running OD loads together got some tickets related to the permits. They fines totaled ~1500 IIRC. I called TVC and signed us both up. A lawyer contacted me and we met at the courthouse in PA. He plead it down to something like a $500 fine and I had t pay ~$600 in legal fees so overall not bad but the trouble is that was the last time they were of any help.

Had a broker in NY that wanted to use my trailer as a warehouse. I called TCV and they still to this day have not found me a lawyer near Massena, NY. I gave up and found my own on the internet.

Had another OD permit related fine in QC and they took 3 weeks to find me a lawyer and then told me it wasn't covered and I had to pay 75%. The lawyer told me to call TVC back and tell them to cover the whole shot. That didn't go well. I said I'm finished with you TVC. They said you need to fill out a cancellation form and give us notice. I said no I don't because my credit card expired last month and you aren't getting the new number.

Earlier this year by husband got pulled over in CA, his home state, on I-5. Another he was in the far right lane, went to next left lane over to pass another semi. Suddenly that semi switched lanes in front of him & cut him off. To avoid hitting the trailer of that semi that cut him off he went to the next lane to the left just long enough to avoid hitting the semi trailer & immediately switched back to the lane to the right. Apparently there was a CHP behind him, saw the whole blasted thing yet still pulled hubby over & gave him a ticket for being in a lane semi's are not allowed. Apparently this is a moving violation on the CDL. When he got the ticket in the mail, I contacted TVC immediately & explained what had happened. They told me to make a copy of the ticket for my records, type up or write exactly what happened on paper or print it out from the computer & then send that information to them immediately. We did all this. The lawyer they used, went to court for him & by the time things got done with his appearance they got the charges dropped down to a no point, no moving violation, nothing shows on his record. The only thing the judge did do was they said that his violation was a log book violation but will not effect his driving record. We have check & it doesn't. So I can personally say so far we have NEVER had any issues with TVC so far. Believe you me, if ever there is any, will cancel them in a heartbeat. Until then, I will pay my monthly.

We've been using the discount for prescription since we got TVC. In fact, that was one of the main reasons we got it. We save hundreds a month with it. I recently used it for dental as well & saved several hundreds of dollars on a procedure done. Let us all hope & pray we never need it for a criminal lawyer but we have it if we need it. BTW, yearly we save around 50% off when we get our flu shots. Hey it might not be a lot to some but as far as I am concern any amount of savings these days helps.

yes I have . DO NOT use them by any means! I paid over $700.00 to get a speeding ticket fought. They never showed up to court and now my license is suspended.

Fellow driver had joined these folks:
    http://www.openroaddriversplan.com/index.html
Had been with them about three months and got an overweight on axles ticket. The lawyer they got for him got the ticket dismissed and saved him paying a $650 fine. Driver was happy.
