From what I got in an email, you can't substitute drivers from outside to make the pickups or deliveries, so an escort won't work, it has to be the driver who drives for you because they are the responsible party for the material you pick up.
To me it is stupid, Twic is a worthless clearance because of the broad spectrum that is covers and the lack of real need for it.
