I haul tanks food grade, if you plan on doing tanker work....seeing that you have tanker and hazmat the TWIC is a definate yes. You might also want to consider getting your doubles...Unless you plan on running Canada, no real need for the passport.
horseshack1 Thanks this. -
Having a valid passport can help you with some companies that travel to Canada. It depends on all kinds of things.
horseshack1 Thanks this. -
i would prob wait. most companies will pay for you to get your twic if it is needed. now if you dnt mind shelling out the xtra cash then it certainly wnt hurt having it. and u might get the upper hand cause the co knows that they dnt have to go through getting it.
horseshack1 Thanks this. -
A passport is always good to have. It can be used as a second ID and proof that you have a legal right to work in this country. A TWIC on the other hand not so much, unless the company you work for goes into ports a lot.Hazmat would be a better choice since it gives you more job opportunities.

Waste of money right now,
get them IF and When you need them...horseshack1 Thanks this. -
A passport card will work driving into Canada and costs less . Getting the passport in advance proves you can get one . Conviction of some crimes will deny getting a passport
horseshack1 Thanks this. -
Get them both now while you have the time. The TWIC is a pain because you have to pick it up at the same place you applied for it at. At least the passport can be mailed to you.
DenaliDad and horseshack1 Thank this.
