First company has a base of about 89k once you get a route. but starts at 22/hr. A buddy of mine made about 103k picking up extra time here & there. theyre about an hour drive one way and do about 50hrs a week. two out-and-back's, night shift. it's McLane and Im starting in the yard.
Second company base is at 46k. 15 minutes from me. 4-10's, m-th 2-midnight. exact schedule I was hoping for and what fits my life to a tee.
maybe the choice is glaringly obvious but the ease of not fighting interstate traffic and a 4-10 second shift schedule is tough to balk at.
is there anything else I should consider besides what's above
Also I have about 95k in debt and if I take the first company, I could be debt-free in 18 months. But fedEx, would be at least double that time.
Two offers, trying to figure out which one to take

If you can get by on less money take the second one. Take the time to enjoy life, you only get one shot at it.
austinmike Thanks this. -
If it was me.. I take the 4 tens. Specially if it's 3 straight days off. Done that with coca cola
Money doesn't buy happiness.Canadianhauler21 and austinmike Thank this. -
the hour drive to work and back would be a killer.

I'd take the second offer and not pay the debt.
bryan21384 Thanks this. -
2nd offer. You need to take the one that fits your lifestyle not the one that will cause your lifestyle fits.
