TWT Orientation-What should I expect?

Oh and he runs only by the RM gps. He has a book but says the gps is designed with all the newest stuff to keep a trucker off the wrong roads. I do plan on getting one but I also plan on checking the book to make sure the machine is right before I leave. I learned that here.

 

Turns out he was really sick. However now that he's feeling better he still drives terrible. Tailgating everyone and yelling cursing at everyone 4 wheeler and trucker alike. Now he says that he's going to teach me to drive more aggressively. He says I'm too nice and that driving like I do will harm me in the long run because every one else will take advantage of that. I'll end up with late loads and accidents from using the Smith System.

I have always driven like the Smith System teaches and managed to never have a ticket and been in only 2 accidents. First was my teenage just got my license stupidity that woke me up and the other was 2 deer and a steep ditch. I choose the butt of the first deer.

I don't want to drive like him. Is my driving going to work against me like he says? Do I really have to drive more like him to succeed?

We have pretty much been teaming since we started. He sits in the passenger seat and sleeps while I drive.

I still like when he works with me because he is a good teacher.

He did say it was a good thing I drive as good as I do which was good since he was so sick.

Well back on the road. I still like doing this despite all the crap. I hope I turn out to still enjoy it when I'm on my own.
