Hmmm
Maybe CALL them and ask them. -
-
would call but no number in paper, just saying to apply at the employment center or fax resume to #....
maybe ill stop by the office -
I would imagine around $7-8 for a yard jockey.
-
well i worked as a yardman/driver and i got paid $22.50 per hour....more yardman than driving....easy money to rake in. i'll take another yardman job any day over a driving job...
but that's up here in the northeast....
down south...??? probably around $12 to 16 per hour..???? -
I work for perdue and the jockeys make around 11/he.
-
cool thanks rerun and squeegee , i am hoping i can get it
-
i think i have been around that Purdue factory, Concord, NC...??? i had to go to a place called Pass & Seymore, they moved on down there from L.I. N.Y.
frankly i liked it a lot...over time, at time and a half, all the hours i wanted, no questions, no log book, no hours of service rules, no traffic (except in the yard), no construction, no cops, no DOT scale house, no having to look for parking for lunch break, bathroom break when ever it was needed, soda machine nearby, never got thirsty and was dying for a beverage.....no cb radio B.S....hey, yardman work is great....if my company did not lose the contract, i'd still be there.....it was great getting off the road and doing this for a while....as long as you know, yardman work requires a class A CDL......B will NOT cut it.. -
sounds good rerun, and yessir i have class A .. im totally stoppin by there office and going for it !
