B-b-b-but if it weren't for the Stupid High Housing, then all of the Banksters wouldn't be billionaires anymore.

And we certainly can't have Banksters in our soup kitchens.

    That would be gauche.

Bro, it's just a little bit of economics news.

If you're an Owner/Operator, you need to keep abreast of all of the news. Not just the portions of the news which you want to follow. Your entire brain has to be crunching numbers all day long.

Woe be unto the Bro who doesn't keep track of all the economic news which he can get his grubby little paws on.

In addition to being your own driver, your own mechanic, your own cook, your own pretend friend in the cab [as you're talking to yourself all day long], not to mention your new temporary girlfriend from the Flying J, you also just happen to be your own security guard, your own ACCOUNTANT, and your own CEO.

And if gasoline prices happen to be going DOWN, then that's just another piece of information which your brain needs to be analyzing.

All day long, your brain needs to be crunching them numbers & crunching them numbers
& crunching them numbers, searching for a profitable angle which your competitors have overlooked [because they lacked your tenacity].

    Ok UkeBro.

Be honest the reason diesel is not going down is because of the war in Ukraine. And there is now way getting around it.

Economic stimulus happened in 2016 when a newly elected President upset the game, not promising hope and change. That President ran on a platform of America first. Diesel plummeted to 1.98/gal, gas was just as cheap in some locales.

Buy 2018 global powers figured out a way to hamstring USA's production of economic wealth, meaning Covid.

That shut down Govt's for enough time to get a plan, because USA was on the way to capitalism enlightment, we were gonna turn on the pumps, politics be ######.

2020 shut us (USA) down, and new regime changes at CEO levels (BP, Exxon,Chevron) cut oil to divert it to Putin's never-ending war.

And here we are, comfortable with gas at 2.89, diesel at 3.50/gallon.

It should be gas at .89, diesel at 1.15 gallon.

    Make gas Affordable Again

Lower gas prices is all good and all but it does no good if you can’t get it out of the can.
