    That's funny cause US Xpress advertising ALL over the internet for Florida.....Craigslist,Monster,Local papers etc...... Very soon TONS of freight be heading to Ruskin just south of Tampa cause Amazon building HUGE warehouse there and TONS being trucked in Daily. hummmmmmmm

    I completely agree. I have also seen the same ads. I'm just talking about what I'm being told by a trucking school whose job is to get me In the door, and by a recruiter from usx, who also has the same job. Couldnt tell you, honestly.

    I too, am aware of the amazon warehouse coming in ruskin. Although unsure of the ETA on completion.as I said in my original post, I'm not trying to steer anyone away from USX. Just telling what I've been told by what I consider to be fairly reliable sources, who gain nothing from telling me this.

    I call them directly and ask. They will tell ya. You will learn to take what other drivers say with a grain of salt. Good Luck.

    Every year at this time, they stop hiring solos here.

    Teams, they'll hire in a heartbeat.

    And if you call next week, you may get a different answer, depending on accounts gained or lost.

    Most, if not all, of those Craigslist ads are being run by people OTHER than USX. Sometimes it is other drivers looking for referral bonuses and there are outside recruiting agencies also. This is not a USX issue, it happens with all the big carriers.

    not sure what you mean by this...... i specifically called USX directly and spoke with a USX Recruiter who confirmed this info, after i spoke with the trucking school.
