u see another driver tailgating a 4-wheeler, what do u do?

IMHO, something tells me you are one of the tailgaters when a 4 wheeler is going to slow in your opinion. What you and everyone else does on the highway is a great concern to me and my driving down the road.

If I have to pay more attention to the idiot (whether it be 4 wheeler or trucker) that is trying to park in the trunk of the car inches away in front of him, I also have to be watching the surrounding traffic closer, to see how they are reacting to the situation, and then I have to adjust my actions to theirs, the whole situation just snowballs, until finally, the multi car, exceptional injury count, accident happens.

I have done my fair share of cleanup from idiots who think they have the right of way, or think they need to be in front, I worked medic, fire, and mortuary...all three jobs dealt with morons on the highway. To many idiots out there! Now the "fungame" is to slow until another truck starts to pass, then speed up causing a log jam of cars and trucks behind the truck attempting to pass. Games on the highway by the "bored" trucker...BS...take your games and gotta be first attitudes and go to Circus Circus and whack a mole, or better yet...just park that thing your driving cause you really don't deserve that CDL in your pocket, not if you can't respect the laws, the rules, and the other drivers..no matter a chisled veteran of 20+ years or the newbie out on his first solo run. Respect others or don't expect any respect from me!

 

Sounds like anger issues to me, why would you want to intimindate a 4-wheeler that way???? What if that is an elderly person or someone inexperienced like my daughter that is nervous and you make it worse, and do not say they do not belong there. The have just as much right as you do to drive on the highway. Your the one that would cause the accident, I normally do not preach my accomplishments but I have over million safe miles, so no I would not cause the accident. Thats why I have a dash cam to record drivers like you, get your truck info and let the cops deal with it.
It is drivers like you that give safe, responsible drivers a bad name, I will stop with a bear behind me so he can arrest you for road rage.

 

who said anybody wanted to intimindate anybody? It's more of a move out the way if you don't want to do the speed limit type thing. If you got somebody in the hammer lane doing 60mph and the person in front of you in the middle doing about the same as at and the person in the right land doing like 57 and he's next to your trailer and ain't no way you can pass him / her when really they should be going 70mph that can get you mad. What is a inexperienced person doing on the interstate, if they are so inexperienced they should not be going anywhere far, i guess your daughter is anywhere from 15-17 y.o.???? You sound like a person who is just out to get revenge on anybody for some reason, i just don't see why you care so much about what other people do, when i;m on the road i could care less what the next man is doing unless it's affectiing me somehow.

 

Someday maybe someone acting like a jerk and intimidating people will affect you or yours. I would like to see drivers act more professional so the public will have a better opinion of us and maybe give us a little consideration once in awhile and some respect. Lol if I was to see you laying on your air horn and flashing your lights 20 times a minute I would make it a point to call your company if and when I had the chance. Honestly who wants that kind of immaturity and impatience out on the road? Not all call-in's get tossed aside.

 

I guess you don't realize the MINIMUM speed limit is 45, on ANY federally funded highway, true they should be in the far right lane, however YOU always have the option of just backing off the throttle and allowing the problem to not involve you.

But as you stated, you just mind what YOU are doing, basically saying TO HELL WITH EVERYONE ELSE! Well sir, that highway is there for EVERYONE to use, not just you, not just by your "reckoning" of the rules, it was built for everyone. Now I just wonder how many accidents you have CAUSED, maybe never been involved in, or never caught to be at fault, but how many you have CAUSED due to your "style" of driving.

GO TAKE YOUR AGGRESSION AND ANGER OUT TO THE TRACK, LEAVE THE HIGHWAYS TO SAFE DRIVERS!

I am sure that "smokey" could pull that authority if you were the cause of any major pile-up..but I kinda figured as much..you own it, you run it..get outa my way..great position to be proud of...

 

Then I guess instead of calling your boss we'll all just have to call 911 and you'll have the joy of being ticketed.

You don't own the highway, it belongs to trucks and 4 wheelers alike. Perhaps instead of venting your rage behind the wheel you might think of seeking professional help. Like a shrink. Just a helpful suggestion.

 

you really think that anybody and i mean anybody wants to cause a accident, i don't think so unless they are really really stupid which i am not. See that's the whole point they should be in the right lane like you just said. I know it's there for everybody so all i'm saying is if your going to go slow please move to the right lane so people who go faster can pass you. But i have never yet been in no type of accident and so far have no caused any all i have it speeding tickets and now that many lol.

 

Just an option, take down his MC or DOT number and report your complaint to the FMCSA. He will get plenty of visits for inspection and that should help keep him busy off the road harassing the public.
