Unless you have your tandems set all the way back you do not need 53' of roadway.Your pivot point on the ground is different then your actual trailer length. You may need 53'+ of clearance for trailer swing but you don't actually need 53' of roadway.

Might be easier to dig out a ditch along the road.
Maybe a couple of big rocks
Or a big concrete toad
Or maybe a tree
or some tossed concrete blocks. -
I was running on I 40 in Cali near the 107 where that little fuel stop is east of the rest areas. Eastbound and Westbound are @ 50 yards apart with dirt tracks between sides here and there. Posted No U-turn. Saw a guy pulling a reefer turn onto the crossover so he could head back west. Everyone was hollering at him on the radio about the dot cop coming down the hill but he kept coming and was back out on the westbound side and nearly to the rest area when the cop lit him up. Would have liked to hear what that cop had to say.

Made a dozen u-turns just today. Will make a dozen Monday, then again you have to to get into our yard. Can't believe that people find it that hard to figure out if they have enough room.

Those 53' guys would be crying trying to find a place to drop a trailer at the Quala wash in La Porte, TX. Need to grease up the fenders and be thankful for the set back steer axle. Makes the peelot in Nitro, WV look like a football field with two VW beetles at opposite ends.

Spike strip along the fence should do the trick...
I am guessing that they hit it with the trailer tail swing.
Put up a sign that says..... "You hit my fence and video goes to your company." -
