I think it may be a good idea... I don't know any uber drivers, but for tax purposes it seems like it would be optimal setup.

And many current Insurance companies say your car insurance is void during the time you are online or driving for these type of companies.

I'm amazed at how popular this uber thing is. I hate riding with people I don't know. I've actually walked home over 2 kilometers from the bar to home, drunk, in -35 weather because I just don't trust the taxi drivers here.

It's not good to go into debt for a car.

Subprime auto is really doing badly now just like the real estate crash in 2008 with one exception, about 30% of all loan money is paid out to cover people who are already upside down on the trade in, not only they are still paying on the first car that is now gone they might not make it to term on the second vehicle.

Sad thing is, they still think they made money on the trade in. I've heard Chrysler now offers 96 month financing. The vehicles hardly make it 60 months before being worn out.

OMFG Gunner75, that little article shows Uber to be predatory as all get out.

Are people THAT stupid? I hope not. Residual payments are like 15,000 due and payable at lease end... or god knows how much if you bought say a Escalade...

My Tahoe is POS Junk, but it's a fully paid for Junk that will take some more money to fix properly. If ever...
