Uhaul and weigh stations…

    that's kinda counterintuitive.

    in my state, pick up trucks and vans can be registered as "commercial" plated, but used for personal/private use, OR for commercial purposes.

    some truck registrations are plated, "apportioned" for class 8 tractors, or even smaller trucks.

    so it would "seem like" no matter what, you need to stop in Indiana.

    here, there has to be a sign on the vehicle, informing it is for hire.

    so, a traveler, or someone moving from east coast to say thru Indiana, is not going to know from, "trucks to commercial"

    I seen a Uhaul truck gettin a full on level 1 at the post falls scale last year by Idaho's finest

    Not sure why all states can’t have the same procedures when it comes to this, as the DOT is a federal.

    Florida has the agricultural inspection station also. You have to go in it.

    Do NOT skip the weight station and at ag inspection stations entering Florida

    they have signs saying ALL TRUCKS MUST ENTER and they WILL chase you down if you don’t .
    Every time I go by the one on I-75 they have a box truck pulled over right past the station .
