Just bought a 99 379 with an ultra cab and 63 inch stand up. Is the ultra cab hole bigger than a regular cab sleeper? I have a 36inch flat top im going to swap out for the 63. will the hole line up or will i have to get a new roof cap for the truck?

The hole is bigger. So new roof cap for the cab or sleeper one of the two. I know there is a company that does flat top conversions for the 48, 63, and 70" ultracabs but not sure if they could do a taller roof for a 36" flat top.

I would assume so but you know what happens when you assume. Lol
A 36" ultracab flattop would be bad butt as Ive never seen one. Ive done lots of looking as I wanted to do a 48" ultracab flattop when I was first looking at getting my own truck as I run regional bulk but I have sense decided that Im going to go with a 70" standup as the little women will be able to go with me once I get it all set up. That and its only maybe 600 pounds heavier then a 48" but has tons more comfort.
