Love that truck, and the uncluttered door, with the name on the frame instead.
But needs more roof lights :)

Was that truck white before? Now that I see CT plates I’m pretty sure I’ve talked to you on the radio before

Seems like I explained it before, but here goes again.

For a small sum of money a broker could pay a trucker to book a load from another broker and immediately know what the current rate is on that contract. Free market? Yes. Speed up the race to the bottom because truckers will still undercut each other to get the load? Also yes.

You want the government to step in and help you when it’s convenient for you, but if it’s not a benefit for you then you want them to stay out of your business. You don’t realize that the TIA has way more money and lobbying power than OOIDA could ever dream of having. What if they start pushing to know the trucker’s operating costs so that you don’t make too much money?

Last year when you were riding the big wave on the spot market you would’ve laughed if you were asked to move one of our loads, and now you want the government to help you have access to information that isn’t any of your business and I don’t agree with that. It’s that simple. You’re not going to convince me that it’s a benefit for everyone with operating authority to have access to the contract rates on any given load. I’m not going to convince you that the government coming to your aid likely won’t result in much help in the end. So I’m going to bow out of this circle.

You have to have more fun, Comm On! I'll share alot. Up to you of you believe me. Its a hustle.

I do believe however if I stumble on to something and its out of my normal service, or don't have time. I will pass that one to someone I like. Thats making good relationships. Thats trucking.

It's one thing to share contacts or decent freight with a friend. It's another thing altogether post that info publicly. Work is out there, go find it yourself.
