I donot want to be that guy buuuuuuut, why isn’t your PPE on when you’re outside your truck doing work?

    Icy out - ice cleats
Working with tensile threats - safety glasses
Getting out of truck - 3 point contact

People are lazy and that’s when you get hurt.

Wow just wow! It was only a joke. If you’re bones are as fragile as your ego I wouldn’t help people either.

    lol

No doubt in my mind that YOU take OFF your driving shoes, put ON your "ice cleats" to close your door. and then put back ON your driving shoes every time you come and go from a dock...

    I really believe that

They slip on over your shoes. It takes literally 2 seconds.

Well, I don’t wear shoes when I drive and my work boots are rubber boots with ice cleats strapped on upside down when winter is in effect.

Well, so much for YOUR PPE huh?
Googled fmcsa shoes while driving and got this:
No federal DOT laws prohibit certain footwear—so you could even drive barefoot. However, you may want to consider wearing closed-toe shoes for safety reasons. If your flip flops were to get caught in the pedal and cause an accident, you could face a reckless driving charge.

So, you can say that "ice cleats" SHOULD be worn at all times when out of the truck in winter, but you arent even wearing shoes if you have to bail out of the truck in an emergency? That is what is called being hypocritical...

    Now isnt it?

Have you ever had to put on a pair of rubber boots?

Please let me know how long they take to put on.
