I used to be like that too but with age you kind of start collecting coupons. Let's see; factoring at at least 6-7 grand for the last 12 months, selective and discounted fueling, combined with easy not too fast/not to slow driving that's $7 - 8K or more. Of course, all these savings won't matter much if you don't do good enough on the revenue side.

Running pretty much just pa/nj/ny we got a rebate mostly buying our fuel in PA and a bit in NY. To this day i haven't ever bought fuel in jersey and my dad has only a few times

The credits mean you are overpaying at the pump.

Yeah i know. That's mainly going to smaller places too that are usually 15c cheaper than the ta/pfj

After driving across New York, you hit the Vermont state line, and the roads turn to glass. Same stretch of road, so New York doesn't have an excuse about having "more cars on the road" on that stretch. They simply aren't using their money to fund road repair. Man, those roads in Vermont are some of the nicest I've ever driven on.

I'd much rather pay a few in direct tax, than give the crooks in high ifta markets any more than necessary.

    Doealex Thanks this.
