unfair charge for unit damage caused driver

    If your an employee you do pay for truck damages, as w-2 you could get fired. If your 1099 and you signed a contract your probably still not responsible because it’s a trucking company scams not paying you and w-2 employee.

    you could do nothing and keep working their and pay the money back. You could quit and lose you last paycheck plus escrow money. If you want mess them up with without spending money I would try calling the fair labor board in you state and turn the company in for not treating and pay you as employees and w-2. From what I hear the states don’t look to kindly on that kind of fraud. You have all the information to prove what they are doing probably.

    I bet they can’t and won’t ever try taking you to court because they will be in a lot bigger trouble if the court see what they are doing. If it was me I just walk away look for a real w-2 employee job. Use as a learning experience.
