Well that's a new one--I know (according to the sign)they won't take cash--but never heard MUST hire lumper--while I did drop there--always pulled it off-but nothin w/those clowns surprises me--IMHO--anyplace w/a locked gate and a sign w/number to call--that they rarely answer isn't worth the effort...good luck

It's a new policy drivers aren't allowed in the warehouse. Which makes me think that they are forcing drivers to use the lumper service.

Oh I got to go there tonight and retry. My company was able to get me a comcheck. But they have to jump through hoops to get it. I'm going to go there tonight and retry to deliver it myself if not I got a comcheck. For back up.

Just checked w/buddy of mine--he was there last week--and did unload himself--but said they gave him major league hassle--course he is long time O/O--does LTL--NEVER hires lumper--carries his won electric jack--course he is also 6'6" bout 285 or so--and can get an attitude pretty quick when it comes to his money--LOL
Also said there was a sign at window stating they now take credit cards for unloadin--go figure

So instead of getting paid $400 to get their product it ended up costing them money to finally get it? I love it!

yeah--silly isn't it? really do not understand the thinkin over there-and silliest part is we get a shipment or two a week for them--and have been droppin it elsewhere for over a year now--go figure!-
full trailer load is one thing--especially w/alot of breakdown. But I have never had more than 25-30 cases--one small pallet. In all the years I have done this NEVER ran into a receiver that is SO silly about things. Even the worst of the worst Sysco's etc....never given me any grief about a small LTL shipment--typically--walk in-roll it off--find a receiver--point to little pallet-they scribble on bills and Adios.

I was at Kroger last night in Keller and did it myself. 7 pallets that breaks to about 21 no problems or issues. Took me about an hour and a half. I do all my own unload and breakdown don't even use an electric jack if Ty won't let me and I'm still done quicker than most lumpers.
