Once again, I think dealers who make mistakes on truckpaper should get 30 days in the electric chair! 72" flat top sleeper? On a Pete? You would think a Peterbilt dealer would know better.

It’s a 72 now, been that way for a few years. They started measuring like KW, from the seat. I think they’re 44, 58, 72, and 80 now.

Not right on modular sleepers! It's a 63" sleeper. Always has been, always will be.

I agree it was dumb to change it. But they must have had their reasons.

Yup 44 is the 36, 58 is the 48, 72 is the 63, and on the 367/388/389 the 78 is the 70 on the 567/579 the 80 is the 70. According to the salesman I bought my truck from they changed the numbers to compete with KW and everyone else due to having “smaller” sleepers then everyone else. ;)

It's not a bad thing to make money but look where it got them and all the other small fleets and owner operators that are now screwed and can't build one. Everyone that purchased a finished glider didn't have the balls build there own

Bean Jr. and Art Vandelay Thank this.
