The headline says two dead but it was only one. This construction zone has a sharp crossover that is a recent change. No signs that say new traffic pattern, but I know that doesn’t help people unfamiliar with the area. My guess is contributing factors would be speed, pouring rain, and an incompetent construction company. It happened around 10:30am. When I came by it at 7:30pm there was still wreckage to be cleared.
