Uniden Grant LT mod/tune

on cbtriks , all i can find is the alighnment mods for the grant lt , looked there a few times tricky to find,

 

Are you going to use the radio on SSB?

has an "L" on the end of it , i belive thats the one that needs tobe changed to a 2sc2229 ?

 

Then be careful what you do to it. 9 times out of 10, anytime you mod a ssb radio for more power on AM it effects the sound quality on ssb. I had the 2 grant LT's and they both sucked on SSB! These things are nothing compared to the Grants or RCI 2950's.

Did you check out the super star 158?

ya i been looking around at the super star SS-158 i bit i use this unit for my base , love to have somthing with backlit keys however , but wtih ssb its hard to find

 

see if this is the 2sc1674 rf stage in the grant

 

on the grant lt that image u posted it shows 2sc1674L , has an l at the end of it , must be it tho no ?

 

I dont thihnk there is any diffrence with or without the l
