You're right on the money regarding the worker's comp angle. Many Unimark 'new hires' are learning the hard way unfortunately.

There is too much BS, Smoke and Mirrors, references with no links, even my Dick Tracy Secret Decoder Ring can't make any sense of the illusion and innuendo in this thread.

I don't understand, if they don't pay the expenses incured in the course of performing their bidding, Why would one even consider going along for the ride?

Many Unimark - ATT - Truck Movers threads...take a look around. More 'smoke' or 'gospel'..whatever you want to make of it.:biggrin_2556:

I'm laughing so hard I'm hurting! Good find and truly incredible. JHT knows the percentages of those who know better and those who don't.:biggrin_25523:

I will take a photo of their Cleveland, NC 'office' (!!!) and post it ASAP. Cleveland is the site of a major Diamler Trucks factory and ATT (Auto Truck Truck Transport) operation. The man who recruited me to drive for ATT now heads the local Unimark operation....:biggrin_2559:

Thank you...... like some drivers, I'm always looking. It helps me keep up with wages and bennies and I have noted Unimark running a campaign in Houston. They keep a steady ad on Craigslist and do some blind paper slots.

And that's the same ad being run in Houston Rollover........ thanks.

The fact that Bent Wrench resorts to a quasi ad hominem retort is not surprising. In reference to the job posting, "no forced dispatch". Unimark will move what they need by telling the driver "this is all we have", so you take it or go home at your own expense. Now that makes for an interesting choice when you just finished a delivery in Abilene Tx, and you live on the West Coast. I endeavor to put this all in a coloring book format, or a childs book for some who's responses I have seen. Remember the old saying, couldn't get out of a paper bag with a blow-torch.
