Im so slow... I did get unhooked at speed once at the tydings. My rescue newbie was driving that night. If it hit anyone back there.. Maryland would charge newbie driver and me because technically we were truckers manning that daycab.

Great American ins. took care of the wrecking crew bill and transportation of the load that was salvaged.
Still going through the process with the physical damage ins.

It was a steel rail bridge the tractor slide under and the reefer/trailer made direct contact desmanteling the reefer/trailer from the 5th wheel. Haven't gotten any details back of propriety damage to bridge. As far as I know the bridge got a scratch on it by the pictures. Lost the trailer, the tractor is in the shop so getting word back from my insurance agent soon.

Did you find the driver yet. Good to hear things are progressing forward for you.
I suggest you check you paperwork and do a self audit on your records and be prepared for an audit in the next few months.
After the 2 accidents my drivers had is when I was flagged for audits.
    Good luck.

    This,..^^^^^^^^^

I dont understand why people in general,.. and rookie truckers seem to be the worst offenders of this. But why jump on the internet and post about things that I would never in a millions years admit I ever did,.. much less ask people you dont know for advice or encouragement?

They post private things things here like they are talking to their mother.

    I will never understand that.
