Wow. Talk about bringing a dead thread back to life. lol Kind of fascinating tho since I now work for them. Been here a little over a year now. They're ok and a HUGE improvement over transam. If anybodies interested, will be happy to update info on this company.

 

For someone who claims to hate lying, you are sure doing nothing but that. I worked there over 40 years before finding my in town job. Universe has NEVER told drivers they would get weekends off. It does NOT say anything like that on the back of their trailers, nor do they tell you that in orientation. They tell you right to your face that you will run 2500 to 3000 miles before getting 48 hours off each WEEK. If you ever ran more than 9 consecutive days for Universe, it is because YOU asked them to keep you running. BTW If they had you planned to work, and you walk in and quit without notice, that IS called quitting under dispatch.
