my companies hasn't paid me few weeks. I quit. The "owner" refuses to pay, now saying that the company is gone and he even wasn't the president of it. But all actions were made only after his approval like truck maintenance, he sent pick up info, everything was reported directly to him. What can I do in this case?

Get anything and everything in writing dude. Emails, anything to show they owe you money. How much does he owe you? If he willfully refuses to pay you, you are entitled to a lot more money. A wait time penalty (depending on where you live) . . . you need to talk to a lawyer. First, protect your rights and file a complaint with your regional Labor Commissioner. Or else you might miss the statute of limitations.

If they have a DOT number get that... with that it will be on file with the FMCSA... also the name of the business, contact the state and ask for his business license.

Thank you all for replying to me. Do you know anyone or have been in such situation? I mean filing complain and case is the right way of acting. But is there any real outcome in such case?

You will have to send them a certified letter stating that if you are not paid in a certain amount of time you will file. Then after time is up go to small claims court and file on them. Costs like 40 bucks. But you must have copy of letter and receipt from post office where they signed for it.
