How would that help anything at any point in this saga?

Unless you mean use the wood INSTEAD of cranking down the landing gear, which probably would prevent the landing leg gear from failing, but does rather introduce much more possibility of the 2 foot of wood being stacked falling over if it were the slightest bit unstable

It was a single leg failure, not sinking into the ground, those are nice, i like the idea but in this case wouldnt have helped at all

IF the dolly leg failed, that's different but neither set of pics show that.

    OK,
Sorry I guess I was looking for something bent,
I've never seen a dolly leg collapse after being dropped.
    Sorry

LTL Bull and bzinger Thank this.

Me neither, fair enough, but closer up of the 1st picture and others, you can see it was gear failure resulting in one leg going straight up and the foot still solidly on the ground

I can come off snarky sometimes, no worries, all good. I’ve never seen one leg of two go all the way either,I’ve seen a few that were out of sync, maybe skipped a few teeth on the worm gear? I thought it was punched through the blacktop at first too

    bzinger Thanks this.

    Gravel

my first thought with the call was that the air bags let down and jacked it forward on one side, happy beyond beleif it didnt do that, not sure how i would have been able to do it if i couldnt get under the beam with the jack

    LTL Bull Thanks this.

The hardtail on my lowboy truck doesn't even have that crazy of ramps and I'm pretty sure I could get under it.
