How would that help anything at any point in this saga?
Unless you mean use the wood INSTEAD of cranking down the landing gear, which probably would prevent the landing leg gear from failing, but does rather introduce much more possibility of the 2 foot of wood being stacked falling over if it were the slightest bit unstable

I've never seen a dolly leg collapse after being dropped.

Me neither, fair enough, but closer up of the 1st picture and others, you can see it was gear failure resulting in one leg going straight up and the foot still solidly on the ground

my first thought with the call was that the air bags let down and jacked it forward on one side, happy beyond beleif it didnt do that, not sure how i would have been able to do it if i couldnt get under the beam with the jackLTL Bull Thanks this. -
