He could have easily given you a warning, so don't say he was being a nice guy.
Shrug it off and move on. Give it another 6mo and get away from running hotshot.Hughjazz, FlaSwampRat, 70’Nova and 2 others Thank this. -
Remember an OOS is not a violation. OOS is a remedy the Officer uses as a result of finding a defect or a HOS violation. Also, let me add something else VERY important. If you are told to clear it by whatever agency that put you OOS DO NOT leave until you are released. If you do you can be arrested and your rig impounded.HillbillyDeluxeTruck, Lepton1, x1Heavy and 2 others Thank this. -
D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

If you saw half the stuff on some of the loads and rigs Ive had you would be horrified. -

I wouldn't mind doing regional if I could get on with Superior Carriers or a good company like that.D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -

maybe i misunderstand what you're saying, but OOS most certainly goes against you if its noted on a roadside inspection, or you get a citation for an item weighted as OOS'able. Its on the indivudal drivers PSP, and is an SMS entry for the company, its falls under the Vehicle Maintenance BasicLast edited: Dec 5, 2019
rachi Thanks this. -
Some companies fire people for incurring those kinds of problems... er violations. Simply refuse to risk any more of that.
