I was going off of that first pic where at the bottom it looks like a cavity filled with liquid. We see those cavities from time to time. But looking some more it looks like a dab of grease. Lol. If So disregard my last two transmissions. Lol.

Common issue with tires starting to wear funny is having bad shocks.
Shocks should be replaced every 100k miles or once a year. -
Not the shocks . They’re replaced. The wear would be normal if it was across the entire tire not just the edges.

It is a little bit of a guess game and it gets expensive if not guessed right the first time. I fixed my steer tires abnormal wear problem by replacing king pins, bearings, tie rod ends, shocks all at once, then alignament, finally new tires and added centramatics. The centramatics can only help with balancing but it won't hurt to have them.

Where would find one of these alignment shops on the East Coast?
I can't find one on the I-95 corridor thats worth a ####.
I asked the mods about starting a forum for issues like this, they shot me down.
