After looking at the list. I figured what the hell.....4 million 13-24 year olds...with infected phones.

A Cyber STD.

 

I tossed that POS software when I first joined this forum.

I can't even remember who recommended it to me (in this forum). But I've become a HUGE fan of ESET.

We currently have it on 5 PC's with ZERO issues since day one.

 

If you haven't tried it.... do so. 30 days free. It finds stuff that most AV programs simply skip over. And I've tried a lot of them.

I spend a lot of time in places I shouldn't, warez etc. The wife used to get viruses, trojans, redirects...all the time. I hate Facebook !!!

Both my sisters have a habit of clicking ANY link they get in an e-mail. So I installed it on theirs too. No more phone calls

Not so much as a hic-up since we switched. I used to spend a couple of days cleaning our PC's when I came in.

Now I just check the logs...and delete.

 

I've seen a couple of AV programs for smartphones. Not sure how well they work though.
