Update in the Colorado case...

Colorado governor reduces sentence to 10 years for truck driver facing 110 years in fatal crash

 

Has anyone found out why he didn’t use the runaway ramps that he passed ???

My guess is that maybe the driver did not know what the purpose of the runaway ramps is, or was to scared to use them.

 

He didn’t want to damage the truck

 

5 or 10 years....that's a long time in prison. As for the rest of your post, that's foul man.

 

Yes maybe. I have gone past some ramps that had signs up saying you won’t get ticketed for using them.

 

I am glad he got his sentence reduced. He can pay his societal debt, and hopefully, he will do better, regardless of his future endeavor.

 

Dang sure do. That's the problem with our society. It lacks objectivity, everyone is so obsessed with getting their opinions out there, instead of just conversing.

 

I agree, but I think the Gov. was maybe a little to nice... 15 years parole after 10 would have been better.
