UPS to buy Conway Freight???

IF that happened it would have to go through Federal scrutiny and it would be hard to get over that hurdle...but, then again look at JB Hunt...so, I don't know. I have not heard about this as of yet though...

 

I haven't heard a thing out there in the news cyberspace world about this.
Nor have I heard this from inside the trucking world either. Not yet anyway.

 

Yeah, I wouldn't want this to happen, either. Seems like that's the way of the world, though...Buyout after buyout. I was shocked that Con Way sold it's expedite division to Panther and then turned around and bought CFI, right when CFI was in the midst of running commercials ALL the time (on Sirius).

I figured that if they lost Con Way Now, they might be downsizing, but I was wrong....I always heard Con Way Truckload was a great place to run for, but some posts here have said that now that CFI is part of it, it isn't.
