Hey, just curious.

When you put in your application, how long did it take for you to get called back? What was the process for getting hired like?

Did you wait to be called or did you personally show up with the application?

I was called in a few days but I had 30 years of experience with no accidents. Worked for the same company for 15 years. Just get things in writing. I didn't and now the rules have changed after I joined the game.

To get birthday you have to take the day off with pay within 30 days of your birthday or they just pay you for it.

 

No actually paid to take your birthday or a day within 30 days of it off.

At my company when my birthday falls on a scheduled workday, I get to take the day off with full pay. If my birthday falls on a non scheduled work day, I still get full pay but I don't get a day off.

 

Abf pays u 8 hours for your birthday plus 4 hours premium pay if you work on your birthday. So if you work on your birthday u get 12 hours pay plus the miles for that day so it can be a 500-600 dollar day. It's the same for any other paid holidays if you work.
