Hello, I have a bad socket connector at pin 30 on the ecm engine harness connector 2. It is the egr 5 volt supply wire. How do I get that connector out of the harness? Is there a kit that has the tools and correct size connector socket....does anybody know the size and type of connector socket? Called cummins and they said only the service tec has access to it.
Called another level 2 rep and he said a possible 2892507 or 4918916 part number.
URGENT....female connector size on 2013 Cummins isx15 2250 ecm wire harness

The part numbers you were given are correct for your ECM connector, both have the same female terminal. 2892507 has a 20 AWG wire, and 4918916 has a 16 AWG wire.
The terminal itself if you have a local supply for that is a Delphi micro 1.2, and of course you will need a removal tool for this socket so as not to destroy the locks in your plug.
4918921 is the cummins part number for the terminal removal tool.Last edited: Jul 29, 2025 at 9:28 PM
