    There is no way to get rid of egr on that truck, I mean there is a way but would highly not suggest going that way probably everything sounds and point to an internal leak on egr cooler just follow piping around and remove one section on top of valve cover the the front if you find any coolant in there egr cooler is toast also you can remove rubber hose between elbow and egr cooler.

    I fixed the issue. The egr cooler was not the issue. I had a heavy leak coming out of a small hose behind the egr. Below is a photoIt was really expensive to get replaced but im no longer losing coolant. Now i have fumes inside my cab and a whisling noise when under load which is extremely annoying. All gaskets were replaced and still have the whistling and fumes inside cab.

    whoever installed egr cooler did not install egr hot pipe properly and clamps and gaskets are leakin you will also have low power excessive fuel consumption, and regen issues since it can build up proper boost if applicable
