    your best bet would be to do 20 years in the military then go to truck driving school.

    I knew several servicemen that had their states accept their military license and gave them a CDL . All a CDL school does is qualify you to pass the state exam . Check with smaller carriers. Maybe some run automatics.

    I do not plan to stay in for 20 years lol and hopefully the time I get out which is in 13 months all carriers will be automatics lol but i doubt it.
