Great man! hope it works out for you. I made my living doing for over thirty years..paid for a home and put 2 sons through college, 1 of those went on to medical school, the other is an engineer with the city of Charlotte NC. Trucking can be a very rewarding career if you get with the right folks. Just always remember nothing and I mean nothing comes before safety... yours and the condition of the vehicle you are driving. No load out there no matter what a dispatcher might tell you (read threaten your employment) is worth dying for or causing someone else s death. You and and only you know when its time to take a break. Send me a pm sometime we will exchange info... if you ever have any questions..I don't know it all by no means but I do know alot of what I did wrong to start with.

I'm pretty sure TN will convert your licenses as long as you have your OF346 it back it up. I know KY, FL, TX, NC and CT will convert it if you have a 7-ton, HET, or LVS license.

Go talk to your base education center. You may be able to have tuition assistance cover your course before you get out, then convert your WA license to a TN license.
