Everyone is lied to at some point in this industry. Starter companies especially will take advantage of people. It's the name of the game. USX screwed me around on many different things and I quit and got a local job hauling tanker and now I make wayyyyy more money and I'm home everyday. USX was always just a start to get my foot in the door and get some experience in to get a good paying local job I never wanted to stay OTR or put up with the BS everyday but I did what I had to so I could get a good job. You say you have 3 years experience and you don't know these things by now? I have a total 8 months experience and even I know this and made it work out for the best. With 3 yrs under your belt you shouldn't even be considering JB Hunt or USX there should be many other better OTR companies out there you could get into unless your driving record is flawed. Nobody likes to be lied and cheated but not everyone posts all over about it. They just brush themselves off and move on

i just crapped myself by laughing so hard. I think they are hiring at McDonalds and Wendy's. Or if you keep hitting people, I think the prison system has a nice work program.
